Our owner started working for his father’s appliance store in South St Paul when he was 13 years old. Working side-by-side with his dad after school and during the summers Nick learned to do things a little old school. Something that is not commonplace in the service industry anymore. Deliver value for services rendered and people will always come back to you. It doesn’t take a massive billboard and outrageous marketing expenses to be successful, just be a good person.

After an unfortunate accident in 2004, Nick was unable to work for several months and his father had to hire someone to fill the role. After months of rehabilitation he was able to return to the workforce. Since his previous position was filled he decided to enter the heating and cooling industry after a friend referred him for a job.

Nick worked at the same small HVAC contracting company as a service technician for 13 years. After looking for a more challenging role in service management he was offered and accepted a job at a large mechanical contracting company in the south metro. Four kids later, after consulting his wife, he decided to start his own company.

That company would be rooted in the lessons learned from his past experiences. Provide quality service at reasonable prices and you can succeed. Just five years after starting the company it now employs 15 full-time employees. All field employees are proud members of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 10 Union. Nick has a firm dedication to union employees because, being one himself, he knows that all his employees are fairly compensated for their efforts to serve the community and their family is provided with outstanding benefits.
